WristFX Privacy Policy

WristFX is a fully offline iPhone and Apple Watch motion-sound app. This policy explains its on-device processing and local settings.

Privacy at a glance

The app works without an account or internet connection.

We collect, sell, share, and track no personal data.

Sound, haptics, motion mode, and sensitivity remain under your control.

On-device motion processing

When you explicitly enable Motion, Core Motion samples are evaluated on your iPhone or Apple Watch only to detect a trigger. Raw acceleration and rotation samples are never stored, logged, or sent anywhere. Motion stops when the app leaves the foreground.

Settings stored locally

The selected effect, sound and haptic switches, sensitivity, and a modification timestamp are stored in the app's private local container so your choices persist.

Local device-to-device sync

When available, Apple's WatchConnectivity transfers only the settings snapshot between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch. It does not use our servers and never includes raw motion data or playback history.

No data collection or tracking

WristFX includes no account, analytics, advertising, remote configuration, tracking technology, or third-party data collection SDK. We do not receive app usage or device identifiers.

Permission used

WristFX requests motion access only after you turn on Motion mode. If you decline, every effect remains available through the manual tap control. The app does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, health, or notification access.

Children

WristFX is a general-audience entertainment app and does not collect information from anyone, including children.
