Compression happens on your device. Recent task summaries may be saved locally so the app can show your recent results. Output files are stored temporarily until you share or discard them.

System Permissions
Image import uses the system photo picker, and export uses the system share sheet. You can manage photo-related permissions in iOS Settings where applicable.
