Your filament inventory, immutable weight events, print usage, cost facts, notes, and selected spool photos stay on your device. The only network feature is feedback you choose to submit.

Private filament ledger

The short version

Your SpoolLedger inventory is stored in the app's private container on your iPhone or iPad.

Optional feedback sends only the message, diagnostics, contact address, and screenshots you choose.

You can edit spool details, export or restore a complete backup, clear the ledger, or remove the app whenever you choose.

Filament Data SpoolLedger Handles

SpoolLedger stores the spool names, brands, materials, colors, diameters, weights, purchase amounts and currencies, dates, storage locations, low-stock thresholds, notes, selected photos, append-only weight events, and print-job facts that you enter. Print usage and cost snapshots are used only to maintain your private filament ledger.

Local Storage

Your ledger is stored locally in SpoolLedger's private app container on your iPhone or iPad. SpoolLedger has no account, cloud sync, advertising, or analytics and does not upload the ledger to ApplyAI servers.

Backups, Imports, and Sharing

Readable text, spool CSV, event CSV, print CSV, and checksum-verified complete backups containing selected spool photos are created only when you request them. You choose where to save or share each file. SpoolLedger reads an import only after you select it, previews conflicts, and validates its schema, checksum, references, and attachment hashes before merging or replacing local records.

Optional Feedback

If you submit in-app feedback, SpoolLedger sends your message, optional email address, selected screenshots, app version, operating-system version, device model, locale, and App Attest security proof to the ApplyAI support service. We use this information only for support, defect investigation, abuse prevention, and app improvement.

Images You Select

SpoolLedger can access only images you explicitly select with Apple's system photo picker for a spool photo or feedback report. Removing or cancelling a feedback draft requests deletion of uploaded draft screenshots; unattached draft uploads are automatically removed after 24 hours.

Diagnostics and App Attest

SpoolLedger includes no third-party analytics or advertising SDK. App Attest supplies app and device integrity evidence for optional feedback submissions and is used for abuse prevention, not cross-app tracking.

Paid App Store Download

SpoolLedger is a USD 0.99 paid App Store download, with Apple-equivalent prices in other regions. Apple completes the purchase before installation. The app contains no in-app purchase, subscription, paywall, receipt, or transaction verification, so SpoolLedger sends ApplyAI no purchase data.

Retention and Deletion

Local SpoolLedger data remains until you clear it, replace it with an import, or remove the app. Exported files remain wherever you chose to save them. Submitted feedback is kept only as reasonably needed to respond, investigate defects, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Permissions

The core ledger requires no camera, contacts, location, microphone, notification, broad photo-library, or account access. Apple's system photo picker appears only when you choose a spool photo or feedback screenshot, so SpoolLedger receives only the images you select.

Children

SpoolLedger is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Policy Changes

We may update this policy when SpoolLedger or its data practices change. The current version will remain available on this page with a revised update date.
