Create and manage events
Create an event with an optional date and venue. You can edit, duplicate, or delete an event; destructive actions always ask for confirmation.
Organize guests and relationships
Add attendance, meal, group, note, seat-together, and seat-apart details. Search and filter the guest list to resolve missing or conflicting information.
Assign tables safely
Create tables with capacities, then assign, move, swap, or unseat guests. SeatSlate warns about over-capacity and preference conflicts without silently changing your plan.
Preview CSV imports
Map CSV headers, choose how duplicates are handled, and review a summary before committing imported guests. Existing records stay unchanged until you confirm.
Prepare a handoff
Review capacity and relationship issues, inspect the audit history, then create a CSV guest list or printable PDF seating plan through Apple's share interface.
Back up and restore locally
Create a JSON backup when you choose. A restore validates the file and shows an event, guest, and table preview before replacing local records.
