Your subscriptions, renewal rules, prices, reminders, and confirmed-charge history stay on your device. The only network feature is feedback you choose to submit.

Private renewal ledger

The short version

Your core renewal ledger is stored in the app's private container on your device.

Nothing is sent unless you deliberately submit feedback or share a backup.

You can edit, export, or permanently clear your local records whenever you choose.

Renewal Data RenewalSlate Handles

RenewalSlate stores the subscription names, categories, prices, currencies, billing cadences, renewal anchors, time zones, trial dates, reminder preferences, notes, and renewal facts that you enter. These records are used only to organize projections and confirmed history on your device.

Local Storage

Your renewal ledger is stored locally in RenewalSlate's private app container on your iPhone or iPad. RenewalSlate has no account, bank connection, email scanning, or cloud sync and does not upload the ledger to ApplyAI servers.

Backups, Imports, and Sharing

A verified JSON backup is created only when you request it. You choose where to share or save that file. RenewalSlate reads an import only after you select it and validates its schema, checksum, and references before changing local records.

Optional Feedback

If you submit in-app feedback, RenewalSlate sends your message, optional email address, selected screenshots, app version, operating-system version, device model, locale, and App Attest security proof to the ApplyAI support service. We use this information only to answer support requests, investigate defects, prevent abuse, and improve the app. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.

Selected Screenshots

RenewalSlate can access only the images you explicitly select with Apple's system photo picker for a feedback report. Removing or cancelling a draft asks the support service to delete uploaded screenshots, and unattached draft uploads are automatically removed after 24 hours.

Diagnostics and App Attest

RenewalSlate includes no third-party analytics or advertising SDK. App Attest provides device and app integrity evidence for optional feedback submissions; it is used for abuse prevention, not cross-app tracking.

Retention and Deletion

Local renewal data remains until you delete subscriptions, use Clear All Local Data after two confirmations, or remove the app. Submitted feedback is retained only as reasonably needed to respond, investigate defects, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Permissions

The core renewal workflow requires no camera, contacts, location, microphone, bank, or mail access. Notification permission is requested only when you enable local renewal reminders. The system photo picker appears only when you choose to attach a feedback screenshot.

Children

RenewalSlate is a general-audience finance utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Policy Changes

We may update this policy when RenewalSlate or its data practices change. The current version will remain available on this page with a revised update date.
