PaceBloom
Offline interval walking for iPhone and iPad
Privacy at a glance
Data PaceBloom Handles
PaceBloom stores the built-in plan you last used, custom interval plans, active-walk recovery state, completed session times, brisk and active minutes, completed rounds, optional effort ratings and notes, weekly goal, reminder schedule, and display or cue preferences that you choose. This information is used only to run the timer and calculate progress on your device.
Local Storage Only
Plans, sessions, preferences, and the safety backup used to recover local records are stored inside PaceBloom's private app container. The app has no account, cloud sync, analytics, advertising SDK, remote configuration, or network feature, so these records are not uploaded automatically.
Optional Local Notifications
PaceBloom asks for notification permission only after you choose background phase cues or a weekly reminder and first see an explanation. Authorized phase and weekly alerts are scheduled locally through Apple's notification system. Pausing, ending, disabling reminders, or deleting all data cancels the related requests. No remote push server is used.
User-Controlled CSV Export
PaceBloom creates a temporary CSV file only after you choose Export. Apple's system share sheet then lets you decide whether and where to save or send it. PaceBloom does not upload the file, choose a recipient, or retain a server copy.
No Collection, Tracking, Sharing, or Sale
We do not receive, collect, sell, rent, trade, or share personal data from PaceBloom. The app contains no ads, analytics, attribution, cross-app tracking, telemetry, or third-party data-collection SDK.
System Permissions
Notifications are the only optional system permission PaceBloom may request. The app does not request contacts, photos, camera, microphone, motion and fitness, Bluetooth, location, tracking, or Health access. Declining notifications never prevents a walk from starting.
Health and Safety Boundary
PaceBloom does not use HealthKit, Core Motion, GPS, heart rate, step count, distance, or calories. It records only timer-derived interval durations and values you enter. The app is a general fitness timing tool, not a medical device or medical advice; stop and seek appropriate help if you feel pain, dizziness, or other discomfort.
Children's Privacy
PaceBloom is a general-audience fitness timer and does not collect information from anyone, including children. It provides no account, advertising profile, social feature, or child-directed data collection.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if PaceBloom's features or data practices change. The current version will remain available on this page with its latest revision date before any new practice takes effect.
