Your machines, materials, runs, maintenance, selected photos, and audit history stay on your device. The only network feature is feedback you choose to submit.

Private laser run ledger

At a glance

Your LaserSlate ledger is stored in the App's private container on your iPhone or iPad.

Optional feedback sends only the message, diagnostics, contact address, and screenshots you choose.

You can append corrections, export your ledger, restore or replace it from a backup, or remove the App.

Workshop data LaserSlate handles

LaserSlate stores the machine, material, maintenance, and run details you enter. A run can include immutable machine and material snapshots, one to eight operation layers, recorded settings, dates, quantity, outcome, notes, tags, selected photos, and linked correction, void, and restore revisions.

Local storage

Your ledger and selected workshop photos are stored in LaserSlate's private App container on your iPhone or iPad. LaserSlate has no account, cloud sync, advertising, or analytics and does not upload your workshop ledger to ApplyAI servers.

Exports, backups, and imports

LaserSlate creates readable text, CSV, or a complete checksum-verified backup only when you request it. You choose where each file is saved or shared. An import is read only after you select it and is validated and previewed before you explicitly merge or replace local records.

Optional feedback

If you submit feedback in the App, LaserSlate sends your message, optional email address, selected screenshots, App version, operating-system version, device model, locale, and App Attest integrity proof to ApplyAI support. We use this only for support, defect investigation, abuse prevention, and App improvement.

Photos and feedback screenshots you select

LaserSlate can access only workshop photos or feedback screenshots you explicitly choose through Apple's system photo picker. Feedback accepts up to three screenshots per submission. Removing a feedback screenshot or cancelling a draft requests deletion of its uploaded draft image; unattached draft uploads are automatically removed after 24 hours.

Diagnostics and App Attest

LaserSlate includes no third-party analytics or advertising SDK. App Attest supplies an App and device integrity proof only for optional feedback abuse prevention and is not used to track you across apps.

Paid App Store download

LaserSlate is a USD 0.99 paid download in the United States App Store, with Apple's equivalent pricing elsewhere. Apple completes the purchase before installation. The App has no in-app purchases, subscriptions, paywalls, receipt validation, or transaction processing, so LaserSlate sends no purchase data to ApplyAI.

Retention and deletion

Local records and photos remain until you replace them with an imported backup or remove the App. Exported files remain wherever you choose to save them. Submitted feedback is retained only as reasonably necessary to respond, investigate defects, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Permissions

The core ledger needs no camera, contacts, location, microphone, notification, broad photo-library, or account permission. Apple's system photo picker appears only when you choose workshop photos or feedback screenshots, so the App receives only the images you select.

Children

LaserSlate is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when LaserSlate or its data handling changes. The current version will remain available on this page with a revised update date.
