The short version
Photography Data FrameTrace Handles
FrameTrace stores the roll, frame, camera, lens, film stock, exposure, cost, scene, development, rating, keeper, and note details you enter. It uses those records only to provide the logbook, lifecycle, search, and fact-based insight features.
Local Storage
Your photography library is stored locally in the FrameTrace app container on your iPhone or iPad. FrameTrace does not require an account and does not upload or synchronize this library to ApplyAI servers.
Exports and Imports
Text, CSV, and JSON files are created only when you request an export. You choose where to share or save them. JSON backups are read only after you select an import file, and FrameTrace validates them before changing local records.
Optional Feedback
If you submit in-app feedback, FrameTrace sends your message, optional email address, selected screenshots, app version, operating-system version, device model, locale, and App Attest security proof to the ApplyAI support service. We use this information only to answer support requests, investigate defects, prevent abuse, and improve the app. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.
Selected Screenshots
FrameTrace can access only the images you explicitly select with the system photo picker for a feedback report. Removing or cancelling a draft asks the support service to delete its uploaded screenshots, and unattached draft uploads are automatically removed after 24 hours.
Diagnostics and Security
FrameTrace does not run third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. App Attest provides device and app integrity evidence for optional feedback submissions; it is used for abuse prevention, not cross-app tracking.
Retention and Deletion
On-device records remain until you edit them, delete them, clear the library, or remove the app. Submitted feedback is retained only as long as needed for support, reliability, and security purposes. You may request deletion by emailing support@applyai.tech.
System Permissions
The core app works without camera, microphone, location, contacts, notifications, tracking, local-network, or full photo-library access. The system photo picker grants access only to images you deliberately select for optional feedback.
Children's Privacy
FrameTrace is a general-audience photography utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when FrameTrace or its data practices change. The current version will remain available on this page with a revised update date.
