CircleWise Privacy Policy

CircleWise is a local-first relationship notebook with optional account sign-in. This policy explains what stays on your device and the limited account data processed by ApplyAI.

Privacy at a glance

Relationship notes and follow-up reminders stay on your device by default.

We do not sell personal data, show ads, or use cross-app tracking.

Optional account data is limited to your name, email address, and an internal user identifier, and you can delete the account in the app.

Data CircleWise Handles

CircleWise stores the relationship information you enter: people, interests, context, user-created connections, conversation summaries and dates, next follow-ups, and promises with due dates and completion status. These records remain in the app’s private storage on your device and are not uploaded or synchronized by CircleWise.

Local Storage

Relationship records are stored in the app's private storage on your device. They are separate from optional account data and are not sent to the ApplyAI authentication service. Removing the app deletes its local relationship records, subject to Apple-managed device backups.

No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your relationship notes, contact context, or personal data. We do not use your notes to build advertising profiles.

System Permissions

CircleWise works without contacts, camera, microphone, location, or photo access. A network connection is used only when you choose optional account features such as registration, sign-in, password recovery, or account deletion.

Optional Account and Authentication Data

If you create or sign in to an account, ApplyAI processes your name, email address, password credential or Sign in with Apple credential, and an internal user identifier solely to register, authenticate, secure, and delete your account. This information is linked to your account. Passwords are protected as credentials and are not stored in plaintext. Signing in does not upload your relationship records.

Security

Account requests use encrypted transport and the app stores its session in the iOS Keychain. Relationship notes can contain sensitive personal context, so we recommend enabling a device passcode and storing only information you are comfortable keeping on your device.

Children's Privacy

CircleWise is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when CircleWise changes. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
