CapsuleGrid

For iPhone and iPad

Privacy at a glance

Capsules, selected garment photos, outfit reviews, and daily plans stay only on your device.
We collect, sell, share, and track no personal, wardrobe, travel, or usage data.
You choose when to add a photo, create a backup, restore records, or permanently erase local data.

Data the app handles

CapsuleGrid stores the capsule names, optional destinations and dates, garment names, colors, notes, selected photo copies, outfit review states, favorites, exclusions, and daily outfit plans that you create. These records are used only to organize your nine pieces and 27 combinations on device.

Local storage only

All CapsuleGrid records and image copies stay in the app's private container on your iPhone or iPad. CapsuleGrid has no account, cloud sync, remote server, advertising, analytics, subscription, or network feature.

Photos you explicitly select

CapsuleGrid uses Apple's single-item Photos picker only when you choose a garment image. It does not scan your library or request broad photo-library access. The selected image is resized, redrawn, stripped of embedded metadata, and copied into the app's private storage; the original remains under Photos and iOS control.

User-controlled backups and restores

A JSON backup containing your records and selected image copies is created only after you request it. Apple's system file and share interfaces let you choose where it goes. CapsuleGrid never uploads the file or keeps a server copy, and every restore shows a verified preview before replacement.

No collection or tracking

CapsuleGrid includes no analytics, advertising, tracking, remote configuration, crash-reporting service, or third-party data-collection SDK. We receive no app-usage, device, wardrobe, photo, location, or travel data.

Editing and deletion

You can edit, copy, archive, restore, or delete a capsule and its related garments, reviews, and plans. Settings also provides a two-step Erase All Data action. Deleting CapsuleGrid removes its private local container according to the operating system's standard behavior.

Children's privacy

CapsuleGrid is a general wardrobe-planning tool and does not collect information from anyone, including children. It has no account, communication feature, advertising profile, or child-directed data collection.

On-device security

Records use iOS app sandboxing and file protection. Device passcodes and device backups remain under your and Apple's control. Protect exported backup files and import only files from sources you trust.

Policy changes

If CapsuleGrid's features or data practices change, this page will be updated before a new practice takes effect. The latest revision date appears above.
