AnswerForge Privacy Policy

AnswerForge uses only the data needed to authenticate your account and deliver the AI interview practice you request. This policy explains what is sent, stored, and controlled by you.

Privacy at a glance

Your email and submitted practice content are used only to provide authentication and requested AI coaching.

Interview sessions, drafts, and feedback history are stored on your device, not in our cloud database.

There are no ads or tracking, and you can erase local history or delete your account from Settings.

Account and Authentication Data

AnswerForge requires an account. ApplyAI's authentication service processes your email address, password credential, and an internal user identifier to register, authenticate, and secure your access. ApplyAI's service receives the authenticated user identifier when fulfilling a request.

AI Practice Processing

When you request questions or answer coaching, the job title, optional job description, selected question, and answer draft you submit are sent over an encrypted connection to the ApplyAI API and our AI processing provider, OpenRouter, solely to generate the requested response. AnswerForge does not listen to or analyze live interviews. Avoid entering confidential or unnecessary personal information.

On-Device Practice History

Generated practice sessions, answer drafts, scores, and coaching feedback are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad so you can review them later. They are not saved to the ApplyAI cloud database. You can delete this history in the app; uninstalling the app also removes its local data.

Daily Usage Quota

To enforce the daily allowance, the ApplyAI service stores your internal user identifier, UTC date, and number of successful AI actions in Cloudflare D1. It does not store your question or answer text in that quota record, and failed AI requests are refunded automatically.

No Advertising, Tracking, or Sale

We do not sell or rent your personal data, build advertising profiles, or include third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs in AnswerForge.

System Permissions

AnswerForge does not request access to contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or location. A network connection is required for sign-in and AI generation.

Retention and Deletion

Authentication records are retained while your account exists, and limited quota records are retained for service operation. Choosing Delete Account in Settings removes your authentication account and associated server-side AnswerForge usage records; local practice history is erased from the device.

Security and AI Limitations

We use authenticated requests and encrypted transport to protect data in transit. No method is completely risk-free. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate, so treat coaching as practice guidance and use your own judgment.

Children's Privacy

AnswerForge is a career preparation tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when AnswerForge or its service providers change. The current version will remain available on this page with its effective date.
