AnglerSlate Fishing Log
Offline fishing log for iPhone and iPad
Privacy at a glance
Data the app handles
AnglerSlate stores the spot names, water types, trip times, catches, species, tackle, measurements, notes, and unit preferences you enter. These records exist only to operate your private fishing journal and factual summaries.
Local storage only
All AnglerSlate records remain in the app's private container on your iPhone or iPad. The app has no account, cloud sync, remote server, advertising, analytics, or third-party data SDK.
User-controlled export
AnglerSlate creates a JSON backup only after you choose Export. Apple's share sheet lets you choose a destination. The app never uploads the file or retains a server copy.
No collection or sale
We receive no fishing records, identifiers, diagnostics, purchases, or usage events from AnglerSlate. There is therefore no personal data to sell, rent, profile, or share.
System permissions
AnglerSlate does not request camera, microphone, photo library, location, contacts, health, Bluetooth, notification, or tracking access. It does not infer weather, tides, or coordinates.
Diagnostics and support
The app sends no crash reports or diagnostics. If you contact support, you choose what details to provide, and those details are used only to answer your request.
On-device security
Records are protected by the operating system's app sandbox. Use a device passcode and protect any backup file you export, especially when sharing it with another destination.
Policy changes
If AnglerSlate features or data practices change, this page will be updated before the new practice takes effect. The latest revision date appears above.
